About this chart

Every data point in the price history is colored by its Historical Risk Level (0–1 scale). Blue tones (0.0–0.3) mark low-risk accumulation zones at cycle bottoms — historically the best periods to build exposure. Orange and red tones (0.6–1.0) mark high-risk distribution zones at cycle tops — historically the best periods to reduce exposure. Risk is derived from four on-chain-inspired components: 35% 365D running ROI (rate of change), 30% log-deviation from the power-law trendline, 20% deviation from MA200, and 15% a 3-year MVRV proxy. The composite is ranked against the full price history (all-time percentile). This anchors the colour spectrum to the absolute extremes across every cycle — only the true peak days reach deepest red and only the true trough days reach deepest blue, producing brief concentrated spurts of colour at real cycle tops and bottoms.
